Statement notes

  1. MaxBounty won Best CPA Network plus both sub-categories (best for advertisers, best for affiliates); it reports 3,000+ active campaigns and 30,000+ affiliates.
  2. ClickDealer won Best European CPA Network with 18 verticals, seven offices and ~10,000 active publishers; clients include Walmart, Upwork and Squarespace.
  3. impact.com topped the CPS/affiliate table ahead of Awin and Rakuten, then formed an April alliance with Rakuten; iPX Austin announcements included an autonomous recruitment agent in closed beta and creator storefronts already live.

MaxBounty won the CPA category outright in the mThink Blue Book 2026 rankings — and it took both sub-categories too, best network for advertisers and best network for affiliates. That double win is the hardest signal in this year's tables, because the two sides of a CPA marketplace want opposite things.

Advertisers push for cheaper leads and tighter quality control. Affiliates push for higher payouts and faster money. A network that gets voted #1 by both camps is managing that tension rather than simply favoring one side. MaxBounty claims more than 3,000 active campaigns and over 30,000 affiliates, and affiliates repeatedly cited payment reliability in their feedback — a measurable operational factor, not a vendor slogan. The network was acquired by German commerce advertising group mrge a couple of years back, which strengthens its pitch to brands as well as publishers. Note the scale figures come from the network itself; the rankings, however, come from thousands of working affiliates and advertisers voting.

ClickDealer takes Europe. ClickDealer topped the European CPA table on the strength of a structure built for fragmentation: 18 verticals, seven offices, roughly 10,000 active publishers, and a client roster that includes Walmart, Upwork and Squarespace. Europe is not one affiliate market but a dozen-plus, each with distinct rules, languages and buyer behavior — a health offer in Germany does not perform like one in Spain, and a network with local offices and vertical coverage has a structural edge. ClickDealer has also started publishing on attribution questions that most networks have not touched, including how to credit an e-commerce sale when an AI agent, not the shopper, clicks "buy." For affiliates running CPL and CPA traffic across borders, that kind of thinking matters more than another vertical-selection blog post.

Aragon wins pay-per-call. Aragon Advertising took the pay-per-call category ahead of CJ and Marketcall, with sister operation Aragon Premium alongside it. Pay-per-call is the least forgiving model in performance marketing: the product is a recorded phone call, so weak buyers or lazy compliance processes sit exposed on tape where no dashboard styling can hide them. Founder Todd Stearn's focus on quality controls has kept Aragon at or near the top of this table for years. The channel is shifting — AI now scores and analyzes conversations on the call itself, while search traffic migrates off blue links and into answer engines. Pay-per-call remains fundamentally about human contact, which leaves the sector room to grow, and the Blue Book expects Aragon to keep leading it.

impact.com tops CPS. impact.com won the cost-per-sale and affiliate table ahead of Awin Group and Rakuten Affiliate Network — and then, in April, impact.com and Rakuten announced an alliance. The #1 and #3 networks in the table are now working together. Details remain thin: it is an alliance, not a merger, but the working summary is impact.com's platform plus Rakuten's services and intelligence, with Rakuten Rewards contributing consumer data and the Cash Back audience. Agencies are still raising questions about account management and competitive overlap between the two.

impact.com used its iPX event in Austin in June to announce a run of new products: a smarter in-platform assistant, an autonomous partner recruitment agent now in closed beta, tracking for how creators influence AI answer-engine recommendations, and creator storefronts. The storefronts and the social amplification component are already live; the rest are announcements, not measured results, and should be weighted accordingly. The AI-answer-engine tracking is the piece to watch for CPS and rev-share affiliates whose traffic increasingly passes through generative interfaces rather than traditional search.

The pattern across all four winners is repeat placement. MaxBounty, ClickDealer, Aragon and impact.com have each appeared in the rankings many times, and the Blue Book's editors — publishing for more than 20 years — argue that consistency and experience, not novelty, separate networks that last from those that spike and fade. Historically the rankings stopped at a Top 20 precisely because reliability thinned out beyond that point.

The votes come from people who do affiliate marketing for a living, which strips out a good deal of marketing noise. None of the categories here disclose specific cookie windows, fee structures or attribution terms in the announcement itself, so partners should verify program terms directly before acting on placement alone.

mThink says its rebuilt PerformanceTech section, covering partner marketing platforms, launches in October — a signal that the platform layer of this market will face sharper scrutiny over the next 12 months.
